Dans la période 1980 à 1995, 

très marqué par la calligraphie orientale, Bertrand Sallard a adopté l’encre noire comme  expression privilégiée,

travail au geste rapide sur papier préalablement mouillé.

 

Between 1980 and 1995, strongly inspired by oriental calligraphy, Sallard mostly worked with black ink,  fast gesture on moist paper.
